It’s Wednesday, which also means its hump day! I don’t know why I sound excited about that because this has been a really stressful week, then again that means half of the stress has passed. I hope you all have had a wonderful day. A reader recently suggested I do a post about a coffee shop I have visited recently and so I figured this would be a neat way to share my life with you all as well as this adorable little coffee shop.
So… If we were at a cafe, this is what it would most likely look like:
I’d most likely order something tea or none coffee related because I actually am not a fan of coffee at all. I can order and drink a frappuccino just fine and sometimes even a cappuccino but that is the extent of my coffee drinking.
If we were at a cafe, I would tell you that I have had one of the busiest and most stressful weeks of my college career, finals aside of course. I have had soooo much stuff do this week. I had four tests and 3 quizzes to top it off. I’m not even going to get into all of the other assignments I have had this week because it sounds like a joke (it is only Wednesday).
If we were at a cafe, I would also tell you that I overcommit myself all the time. This is probably my biggest issue. I’m not even sure if I overcommit myself or not because I don’t think so most of the time and then there are those weeks like this week where I am thinking I do wayyyyyyyyy too much, way too much. I was working on a time commitment sheet thing because for one of the positions that are up for grab in one of my organizations. Part of the application process is making a chart of your time management. I already have a position and I’m not planning on running for anything else but I just wanted to see if I could and ultimately how much time I leave for classes. I couldn’t do it because I didn’t have the time to finish it if that says anything.
If we were having coffee, I would probably also tell you that creating this blogs has been one of the best decisions I think I have made in a while. I don’t really expect it to go very far but I will be so appreciative if it did. This blog has given me an outlet to express things I have no one to talk to about. I can also share my passions with people I wouldn’t normally meet and more importantly meet and make connections with people I would never have probably met.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I am a Pinterest junkie at times. Its weird though, because it goes in waves. There are times that I will spend a majority of time walking to class just thumbing through Pinterest and there are others I won’t get on for weeks at a time because there is nothing worth looking at and I don’t want to waste my time looking at things that are doing nothing for me and not making me happy. I would also tell you that my Pinterest account probably describes who I am as a person that most out of all of the other social media things lol.
If we were at a cafe, I would probably talk your ear off. Actually, it is more like I would question your ear off becasue I LOVE getting to know people and what makes them who they are and how they got to where they are. Everything, just everything. I’d ask how are you? What is your life like? What’s your family like? Do you like to travel? Where is your favorite place you have traveled to? Where is somewhere you want to go? What’s your favorite song? Do you have a favorite genre? What’s your opinion on social media? Do/did you enjoy your major? Why did you choose your major? And so so much more.
Thank you all so much for reading! I would seriously LOVE if you all anwsered some of those questions because I want to get to know you all!
Have a wonderful day!
